• Salt Therapy

Salt therapy, or Halotherapy, is an all-natural method used to ease a variety of conditions. Enjoy a calm and quiet salt session, using the time to reflect and relax while deeply breathing in the healing benefits of salt. The salt therapy room is meant for quiet relaxation, meditation, or reading.

WHAT IS DRY SALT THERAPY (HALOTHERAPY)?

Halotherapy (dry salt therapy) is where 99.99% Pure Grade Sodium Chloride (salt) is heated and then ground and crushed into very tiny microparticles. These dry aerosol microparticles of salt are then dispersed into the salt room, salt cave, or salt chamber during a typical session.

As an individual relaxes, the microparticles are inhaled. The particles penetrate deep into the lungs, bronchi, bronchioles, and alveoli to aid respiratory concerns, while the non-inhaled salt particles are absorbed by the body to combat skin conditions.

Most people are familiar with ‘wet’ salt therapy. Whether you’ve put salt in a bath, had a saline solution treatment, used a Nettie pot to clear your nasal passages, or gargled with saltwater, wet salt has its benefits. Dry salt is different and the drier the salt the better.

    HOW HALOTHERAPY WORKS

Dry pharmaceutical grade salt is heated and then it is ground and crushed into very tiny microparticles. These dry aerosol microparticles of salt are then dispersed into the salt room during a typical session. As the person relaxes in the salt room, the microparticles are inhaled. The particles penetrate deep into the lungs, bronchi, bronchioles, and alveoli. While inside the salt room, the non-inhaled salt particles fall onto the skin.

  • Sauna Therapy

Sauna therapy is a great way to reduce stress. Medical studies often determine that stress in our daily lives can negatively affect our health. Heat bathing in a sauna provides stress relief in a number of ways. It’s a warm, quiet space without any distractions coming from the outside. The heat from the sauna relaxes the body's muscles, improves circulation and stimulates the release of endorphins. Endorphins are the body’s all-natural "feel good" chemical, and their release provides a truly wonderful "after sauna glow.”

    TRADITIONAL SAUNA

Traditional saunas use extreme ambient air temperature and a little moisture to elevate your core temperature.

Traditional saunas have the option to pour water on hot rocks which release a bit of steam and humidity into the air known as “löyly” in Finnish.

Our Traditional sauna can get as hot as 194°F. We recommend alternating between the warmth of the sauna and the cold rain shower.

    INFRARED SAUNA

Unlike a traditional sauna, infrared saunas don’t heat the air around you. Instead, they use infrared lamps, that use electromagnetic radiation, to warm your body directly.

These waves penetrate your body tissues, increasing your internal temperature and creating sweat that just never seems to stop once you get it going.

Our infrared sauna sessions get to 149°F and sessions are 45 minutes.

    Sauna Sessions:
Both sauna rooms are private and you will only be with people from your party.

Large sauna room seats a maximum of 4 people.
